Pat Considine Auctioneers was established nearly 20 years ago where Pat worked from his home-based office until March 2005. In March he opened his own office in Miltown Malbay with the aid of his son David.
Pat began his career as a Livestock Auctioneer with Clare Marts, Castleisland and Kilmallock Co-Op Marts in 1984. A year later he started his own auctioneering business from his home. Since starting up he has mainly concentrated on agricultural land sales, lettings and livestock sales. When he started first there was a lot of activity in farmland sales than most other property sectors. However since the mid-nineties there has been a major shift towards residential and commercial property.
Since opening up the new office in Miltown Malbay much more emphasis has been put on residential sales and we are taking on a lot more properties of this nature. David, his son, has come on board with since his move to Miltown. David was educated at St. Flannan’s College, Ennis and then in the Cork College of Commerce where he studied Real Estate. In his three years at Cork he received a Certificate in Estate Agency and a diploma in Property Management and Valuation. In 2003 he studied a further year in Bristol in the University of the West of England and graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) Real Estate (Valuation and Management).
