Property Description

The Lily Lodge is a modern, self-contained tiny house located in the garden of a , close to Kilbeg Pier and Headford, approximately 25 minutes from Galway.

The lodge is compact and best suited to someone who is comfortable with the practicalities of tiny home living. It offers a private living space with a kitchen, bathroom, living area and two mezzanine double sleeping areas.

The main living area is bright and functional, with a sofa-bed, coffee table and windows overlooking the garden. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker and oven, fridge, microwave, sink and storage, allowing for normal day-to-day cooking. A washing machine can be plugged in but there isn't currently one. The main house can provide regular clothes washing and drying services for a fee

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and vanity unit.

There are two separate double sleeping areas on the mezzanine level. Both have side tables, power sockets and blinds. As is typical with a tiny house, the mezzanines have low ceilings and are accessed by stairs. They are therefore not suitable for anyone with mobility or accessibility requirements.

The lodge has been designed to make good use of a limited amount of space. Storage is more limited than in a conventional house, and the overall living area is compact. It is likely to suit someone who prefers a simple lifestyle and does not need a large amount of living or storage space.

There are skylights and windows throughout the lodge, providing natural light and ventilation. Electric heating is provided, and the lodge is maintained at a comfortable temperature during the colder months.

The Lily Lodge is located within the grounds of our , so while the accommodation is self-contained and private, it is not a completely separate property and garden is shared. Note that there are two friendly dogs living on site. The location provides easy access to the surrounding countryside, Kilbeg Pier, Headford and Galway.

€1,500/month includes all utilities (with electricity up to €100). €1,200 deposit.
