Brian McMahon is well known within the property market in Clare, having successfully run Colleran McMahon, on Lower Market Street since 2002, and previously managed De Courcy’s Estate Agents Ennis branch. When Brian and his business partner and wife Helen, made the move to Chapel Lane, they re-branded as Brian McMahon & Daughters, to reassure customers that the ethos of family values, excellent service and honesty prevail. The name Brian McMahon & Daughters reflects the fact that the company is a family enterprise, where people are guaranteed personal attention.
Brian has an entrepreneurial spirit coursing through his veins. His father, Christy McMahon was in business, selling and repairing agri machinery and tractors from his premises in Ashline, Ennis for 3 decades until his retirement in 2003.
Brian & Helen are graduates of GMIT, where they both studied Auctioneering & Estate Agency. Helen grew up in a family with a strong auctioneering pedigree. Her father Dermot Mc Dermott, was one of the best known estate agents in Sligo and the north West and practiced on Teeling Street for over 30 years. Helen has a solid financial track record behind her having worked for both AIB and National Irish Bank and her expertise in this field is an invaluable resource for potential purchasers. The company has established close contacts with a panel of reputable brokers in the town ensuring clients get excellent independent advice.
Their newly refurbished offices are located at 10 Chapel Lane in the heart of Medieval Ennis. This is one of the oldest parts of the town and the lane forms a strategic link with the pedestrianised Parnell Street and the vibrant Market area. The lane derives its name from the Catholic Church erected here in 1735. The church still remains and now forms part of the Ennis Community centre. The offices are situated on the Market end of the lane in an 18th century two and a half storey townhouse.
Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial commitments that most people undertake in their lifetime and consequently it is of the utmost importance to have faith in the agent you are dealing with. Prospective clients can rest assured that at Brian McMahon Daughters they have a trusworthy and straight talking professional service to assist them in the process. To further emphasise this the firm is a bonded member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers.
