Hegarty Properties is owned and managed by Adrianna Hegarty (formerly Sherry) S.C.S.I. Adrianna, a native of Co. Monaghan, started her professional career at Gunne Auctioneers in Monaghan and Dublin.
Having worked as office manager at the Gunne offices in Ballsbridge for 5 years she left to work with Sherry Fitzgerald and then Jackson Stops & McCabe Country House Department, Dublin. Following from there she left to form her own business where she specialised in pubs and hotels and second hand housing.
In 1990 she moved to Cyprus where she marketed villas and apartments to English speaking buyers, with the Lordos Property Group. During her time here Adrianna completed her MIAVI following a study period of 4 years.
In 1992 Adrianna moved to the USA where she continued her property experience, gaining her Californian Real Estate License, and working on premium properties in the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles.
Adrianna then moved back to Cork in 2000 and decided to put her 20 years of experience to work in Property Consultancy, and in September 2005 opened her office in Coolbawn House, Broderick St., Midleton and employed Anne O’Connell as office manager. In August 2012 Hegarty Properties moved from Broderick St. and are now located at 83 Main Street, Midleton.
A new addition to the valued team in Hegarty Properties is Kyle Kennedy from Midleton. Kyle will be a valued asset to the continued growth and success of Hegarty Properties.
Adrianna is a full member of The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland. The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland was formed as a result of a merger between the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCS) and the Irish Auctioneers & Valuers Institute (IAVI) in April 2011. The society has stringent entry and practice standards for the protection of the public as well as the profession. Strict membership criteria ensure that members practice to the highest standards in the profession.
