Dungarvan Golf Club hereby invites formal expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the provision and operation of catering and bar services at its clubhouse premises in Knocknagranagh, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

Club Profile
Dungarvan Golf Club is an established and progressive members’ club with a membership in excess of 900. The Club enjoys a consistent level of activity throughout the year, including regular competitions, social events, and a significant volume of visiting golf societies and guests.
The clubhouse provides excellent facilities and is well positioned to support private functions, social gatherings, parties, and corporate events, offering substantial potential for business growth.

Operating Requirements
The catering and bar facilities are to be operated 7 days per week , with flexibility to extend hours in line with demand, events, and seasonal activity
The Contractor shall ensure the consistent and professional delivery of services in accordance with Club requirements and all relevant statutory regulations
Scope of Services & Duties

The appointed Contractor will be responsible for the comprehensive management and delivery of catering and bar services, including but not limited to:

Provision of a high-quality food and beverage offering to members, visitors, and guests
Full operation and management of the clubhouse bar and catering facilities
Development and delivery of menus suitable for:
Day-to-day clubhouse service
Golf societies and group bookings
Club events, competitions, and functions
Catering for private events, parties, and social functions
Recruitment, training, and management of all catering and bar staff
Responsibility for all staffing costs, statutory obligations, and compliance (including Revenue and insurance requirements)
Maintenance of high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
Stock control, purchasing, and efficient service delivery
Ensuring all operations comply with licensing laws and Club policies
Securing the premises when closing, where applicable

Key Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
Proven experience in hospitality, catering, or bar management
Strong organisational and operational capability
A commitment to delivering excellent customer service standards
Commercial awareness with the ability to maximise revenue opportunities
Capacity to manage and grow a multi-faceted catering operation
